KEELIN CONNOLLY
BIO
Keelin is a lighting designer and technician for entertainment based in Tucson, AZ. Currently in her senior year at the University of Arizona, she is a BFA Theatre Design/Technical Production Lighting Emphasis major with a minor in Film & Television. She has experience as a lighting designer, production electrician, gaffer, grip, carpenter, stagehand, and production assistant. She has worked with Arizona Repertory Theatre, Next Performance Collective, IATSE Local 415, Broadway in Tucson, Biosphere 2, Grandstreet Theatre, and Colorado Shakespeare Festival.
Keelin's collegiate career has been packed with new adventures and experiences, including working as an overhire technician with IATSE Local 415 for Broadway in Tucson touring productions, studying abroad in Orvieto, Italy with the W.A. Franke Honors College, and working at Biosphere 2 as a Media Production Intern for their Storytelling Studio, along with connecting with local non-profit theatres in Tucson.
Originally from Helena, Montana, Keelin has a strong background in community theatre and finding creative ways to work with what you have. She is passionate about creating inclusive and innovative storytelling through light. Outside of work, Keelin enjoys spending time in the outdoors, running, skiing, reading, watching movies (while writing Letterboxd reviews), and dancing with her friends.
