BIO

Keelin is an entertainment technician and lighting designer based in Orlando, FL. Currently, she is a stage technician at Walt Disney World's Hollywood Studios. She spends most of her time backstage at The Little Mermaid: A Musical Adventure and Beauty & The Beast: Live on Stage, but can also be found working special events at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex or Typhoon Lagoon. While at Disney, she has gained experience in show control systems, automation operation and spotting, moving light busking, show sustainment, equipment maintenance, crew leadership, and professional communication.

A graduate of the University of Arizona, she holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design & Technical Production with Honors and a minor in Film & Television. Her collegiate career was packed with various theatrical productions and student films as a lighting designer, production electrician, gaffer, grip, carpenter, and stagehand. She was an overhire technician with IATSE Local 415 for Broadway in Tucson touring productions, studied abroad in Orvieto, Italy with the W.A. Franke Honors College, and worked at Biosphere 2 as a Media Production Intern for their Storytelling Studio, along with connecting with local non-profit theatres in Tucson. She has worked with Arizona Repertory Theatre, Next Performance Collective, Grandstreet Theatre, Warm Springs Productions, and Colorado Shakespeare Festival. ​

​Originally from Helena, Montana, Keelin has a strong background in community theatre and finding creative ways to work with what you have. She is passionate about creating inclusive and innovative storytelling through light. Outside of work, Keelin enjoys spending time in the outdoors, running, skiing, reading, watching movies (while writing Letterboxd reviews), and dancing with her friends.
